Rebuilding Trust in Relationships
One of the hardest parts of recovery isn't staying sober — it's watching people you love need time to believe it's real. That's a fair response to a broken pattern, not a punishment.
Consistency matters more than words here. Showing up reliably, in small and unglamorous ways, does more to rebuild trust than any single apology. Give people room to be cautious without taking it personally, and don't expect a timeline — healing happens at its own pace for everyone involved.
If a relationship doesn't recover the way you hoped, that isn't proof your work doesn't count. It still does.
